The assassination actions in search for fortunes : ``The Poisoner of Montremos``

The Poisoner of Montremos, which is a story that divulges into innocent characters and their dark side which is created by the search of fortune due to its greed. In this story it develops several actions that are taken by the characters which turned them into dark personalities, which are not normally seen by their everyday actions. We view the physiological perspective of the dark side of humans because of results such as greed in which drives the characters into the motivation of committing murder, incest and suicide.

This search for fortune was stated at the beginning of the book by describing the accusations that were done to Don Juan, a Character which was established as the murderer of Josepha, his known half sister. In this, it is introduced with a case of murders by poisoning. Although the accusation was done for Don Juan, later on it was discovered the real murdered of Josepha. The most intriguing interesting fact is the killer’s motivation to murder, that was created by his greed in search for fortunes. His motivation in looking for fortune, made a normal innocent monk turn into his dark side to commit murder to Josepha. As he describes (it became necessary for me discover to Don Juan who he was, and also what fortune he was entitled to. In this crisis, threatened with shame and detection on one hand and tempted by avarice, pride and the devil on the other, I won over my reluctant wife to a participation on my crime, and we mixed that dose with poison which we believed was intended for Don Juan, but which was in fact was destined for our only child.11) In this confession, he reveals his innocence as a person but his dark side that drove him into tempted murder not for josepha but for Don Juan. It is viewed the intentions were not fully cooperated by his soul but his motivation of the dark side created him to make such horrible actions.

As for Don Juan, the survivor of such horrible actions that were taken by the Monk, was also perceived as an incest for many characters in the story. At the begging of the story, he is perceived as an innocent character ,devoting money in helping people all around, but was derived by dark actions to commit sexual actions towards his half sister. Although in his exclamations for his actions, he tells the judges that his known to be sister, was not biological sister in deed, which drove him to commit such actions of incest. As Don Juan Claims (he begged his judges therefore to observe that he never understood Josepha to be his sister; that as to her being with child by him he acknowledged it and prayed to God forgiveness for an offence which it had been his intention to repair it with marriage.8) As it is claimed by Don Juan, religion actions are also looked upon, which reveals an immortal action that was taken place by Don Juan, which reveals how a person who was thought to be innocent can portray his dark side as well. In his actions, his dark side is shown by doing sexual actions with Josepha, which are not welcomed at the time period, before marriage which are usually condemned by the church.

Finally suicide was revealed by the monk, as another part of his dark side. In his humble catastrophe of his daughter’s death, created such character to be known as once having actions of an innocent man, which were distorted into unwelcomed actions of suicide. During these actions, which were described as very graphic and depressing occurrence, demonstrate another dark action that took place by the monk. It is proven by his actions with the reading (Having uttered this in a voice scarce human, he plunged a knife to his heart, and whilst his blood spirited on the pavement, dropped dead upon the body of Don Juan, and expired without a groan.11) In addition, in the murdering actions, it is interesting to view that this actions that took place, taking into consideration the religious structure that took place in the story.

In this case, those suicidal actions that took place by the monk are usually condemned by the church, which makes many characters withdraw from completing them. To add, it is clarified that such actions were done in his failure to neither achieve his fortunes, but instead commit a crime never forgiven by nor mankind, nor human mind, which could have been his dominant motivation jointly with his dark side.

Real murdered of Josepha?

You mean murderer?

Seriously, you gotta watch your words and re-read something before you put it up. Syntax was lackluster.
