Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Editorial

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, written by J.K Rowling is an excellent book for teenagers to read. The book is filled with intense details, shocking events, and best of all it can really relate to teens. The way the author uses fictional characters, while enabling them to connect to the reader is outstanding.

First of all, J.K Rowling describes the events in the book with great detail. Every moment in the book is described in a certain way, making the reader feel like they can touch, feel, smell, hear, and see everything that occurs in the book. J.K Rowling makes the book come to life; she gives purpose and meaning to the characters in her book. This is the first aspect that makes this book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, a great read for teens.

Shocking events in the book make the reader feel emotions (i.e. sad/mad) towards the events. Linking back to what I said before, the shocking events draw you in. They make you feel a sense of despair and wanting to read more. This was put into the first book and then continued on through out the rest. Shocking events are a big part in teen’s lives and teens would enjoy reading about them.

The relation J.K Rowling links from her book to teens is impeccable. The fact that Harry and other characters, have gone through so much is drawing teens to read the book because teens can relate to him. These days many teens, like Harry, come from broken homes and have had to deal with many of the problems that Harry has had to deal with. We all have problems that we can relate with Harry. Some people can really relate to Harry Potter.

Harry Potter is an excellent book for teens to read. The connection, feeling, and amazing story line traps teens in the book. J.K Rowling created an outstanding series that captured the world. I truly believe that every teen should take the time to read this book; it draws you into another world!

Having read every Harry Potter book myself, I can relate to what you wrote. The problem is that it may not interest people who have not read the books.
Also, you should write more about THIS book and not the entire series. You spoke about the other books too much. Maybe you should put in examples of what happened in The Deathly Hallows that made you emotional, and not just state that it did.

As a Harry Potter fan, I really did not like your essay. You wrote it as if we should all know exactly what happened in the book. I do, obviously, but that's not how you write a proper essay.
You need to put in examples straight from the book. And write about EXACT things that happened in it. The way you wrote this essay, it's like it could be about just about any book.
