A Mother's Touch (w/ Response)
A Mother’s Touch
No child could ever honestly admit to wanting to grow up. The mind of a child is very innocent and immature, it sees not the hardships and responsibilites of life to come, but the playfulness and nurturing they are surrounded by. They see their mother. A mothers job is to nurture and care for her children by preparing them for the responsbilites of adulthood. J.M. Barrie's character Peter is an example of a boy who never wants to grow up; his character Wendy idolizes a mother like figure throughout the story who nurtures Peter and the "Lost Boys".
